From The Fire Feasts

Our From the Fire Feasts will return in 2019 from May to September
Bar open from 6 PM

Food served at 7.30 PM

Every Thursday night, we cook over fire  – dress for the weather as feasts are outdoors (unless its raining!) – please advise of any dietaries on booking  – spaces must be booked in advance

Seats are £25 pp and include a pudding

We can cater for all dietary requirements – Please advise on booking

Our From the Fire Feasts will be returning on Thursday 9thMay. With live music from the Steve Payne Trio. Look forward to world class roots, blues and boogie from three of the UK’s finest exponents.

9th May – BIRD CAGE 

Chimichurri marinated chickens, cooked over oak in the Bird Cage, Caesar salad & potato and cherry tomato al forno

16th May – INFERNO TABLE PORK 

Fennel & clove salt rubbed pork, hot pickled apples, Somerset cider, charred hispi cabbage, carrots, potato bake 

30th May – CHILLI BEEF TACOS 

Durslade Farm beef slow cooked over fire, couscous, guacamole, charred tomato salsa, tacos & sour cream

6th June – FIRE PIT FISH STEW 

Dorset day boat caught fish & shellfish, fennel & tomato, saffron potatoes, aioli & crusty bread

13th June – DURSLADE FARM LAMB 

Slow cooked marinated lamb shoulders, pomegranate & aubergine salad, giant couscous, salsa verde

20th June – SURF & TURF (£10 supplement)

Dorset Blue lobster & Durslade Farm beef, béarnaise sauce, baby gem, sea salt & rosemary potatoes 

27th June -PLANKED FISH

Whole sides of salmon nailed to cedar planks, studded with lemon & garden herbs, spiced green beans & tomato stew, hot buttered potatoes

4th July – SEAFOOD PAELLA 

Castlemead Farm chicken, home cured chorizo, River Ex mussels, prawns, saffron rice, garlic bread & aioli

11th July – GOAT CURRY 

Whole goat asado rubbed with spices, yogurt, brown rice salad, poppadum’s, cucumber & mint relish

18th July – BLACKENED CHICKEN

Blackened Spatchcock chicken, grilled sweet corn, feta, mint & coriander, orzo, tomato & olive salad, Russian dressing

25th July – CHILLI BEEF TACOS 

Durslade Farm beef slow cooked over fire, couscous, guacamole, charred tomato salsa, tacos & sour cream

1st August – MACK ATTACK

Grilled whole mackerel, Nicoise salad, flat bread & tzatziki

8th August – FIRE PIT FISH STEW
