Weekend Wine Festival & Dinner

Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd April 2016

Roth Bar & Grill will host its very first annual wine festival this Spring.  The focus this year will be on Austrian, Hungarian and English wines, organised by industry experts – Austrian wine grower Rainer Garger,  Master of Wine Anna Krebiehl and Jason Yapp from Yapp Bros in Mere.  This talented team will play host to 12 artisan growers who will be in residence at Durslade over the weekend showcasing their wines all day on Saturday 23rd April from 11am. Based on the tradition of a ‘celebratory village wine festival’, glasses for tastings will be available at £10 each on the day – the wine is complimentary.  Bottles and cases will be available for purchase and there is no need to book, just turn up!

The weekend celebrations will start with a 3 course Wine Tasting Dinner on Friday 22nd April from 7pm.

The menu will include:

White Lake Goats curd, salt baked beetroot, tomatoes, black olives

Durslade Farm lamb, cucumber & mint yogurt, broccoli & spelt salad, Charles Dowding leaves

Apple tarte tatin, cream

All guests will receive a glass of sparkling wine upon arrival, followed by 3 complimentary wines to accompany each course throughout dinner, including pudding wines from Tokaj.
